All Standard-legal cards released from Guild of Ravnica onwards are legal in Historic, and there are some sets like Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth , Modern Horizons 3 , or several sets bonus sheets that, although they werent legal in Standard, were greenlit in Historic
But none of this is true with AEtherize
Called Disney Lorcana: Disney100 edition, the special release will contain six cards from both The First Chapter and Rise of the Floodborn but illustrated with alternate artwork not printed on their original cards
As with Magic, an ongoing plot takes center-stage to keep dedicated players invested as well (it was apparently the first major work done on Lorcana, with Miller pointing out that the team "wanted to make sure that it didn't feel like we were just putting characters on cards")
So no, its not the best instant win conditionbut hey, at least it comes with a plan
