Until now, Legacy of the Duelist followed the Master Rule 4 format, which allowed for only one Fusion, Synchro, XYZ, or Link monster on the field (outside of the effects of Link monsters.) With Master Rule 5, duelists can once again place Extra Deck monsters on any space on the field, allowing for up to six Extra monsters on the field at one time
Special Summon 1 "The Winged Dragon of Ra" from your GY ignoring its Summoning conditions, then you can send 1 monster your opponent controls to the GY, also send that Special Summoned monster to the GY during the End Phase
Additionally, the deck places much emphasis on cost reduction of opposing Characters in order to put them within removal range for the player
