I had never worked on a turn-based or even a tile-based game on Godot, and along with learning these two things I wanted to try and finish a game in a single month I started working on Yu-Gi-Oh 2 in the 1st of january 2024, and in the 30th all the main systems were working, so at least in this aspect I consider this a success (however I kept working on YGO2 after this date, but it was like, testing, balancing, improving the graphics and sounds and things like that) Also there is a "secret" you might need to "REVEAL" that took some additional time to implement lol (check the Options menu) The battle BGMs are from the GOATED game Yu-Gi-Oh: The Falsebound Kingdom
The games where you get to Do The Thing are so incredibly fun and satisfying, its almost easy to forget how miserable you are trying to play the deck when its not functioning
