That said, there is an audience that wants to see incentives to play the fewest colors in Commander and those kinds of answers are not going to be properly seen in a Standard-legal product
They weren't necessarily bad decks, but their construction was such that they just weren't hitting a lot of two-color cards
Its evolution into Palpitoad and eventually Seismitoad makes it a viable choice for players seeking a balanced team composition, especially given the dual Ground typing Seismitoad gains, which provides resistance to Electric-type moves
While there are plenty of worthy cards to discuss (especially Bake into a Pie, Wicked Guardian, and Heraldic Banner), I dont think I could pick a better card to conclude with than Rankle, Master of Pranks
But there is more to this Crown Zenith Pikachu than just its nostalgic or competitive value
