They are in very good condition

There is a an old split in the wood coming in from the right edge and showing a bit of yellow pigment on either side of it

The paint and the wear is important though the paint on earlier sets like this softens and wears away, rather than chips off I'll never buy a set where the latter is the case! It is possible this set once included a larger red box, but there's five now, with the orange the largest. Jointed corners, great
