Serial # 4323 indicating a 1977 manufacture date. Official weight of 3 1 8 ounces though weighs 3. 6 on my scale. The rod action is on the slower side of medium. The condition is lightly used with some soiling to the grip but no chips, hook digs, scratches to the varnish or any other issues. The rod is straight and the ferrule fit is excellent. The cane is oven tempered to a light
