There is not a whole lot out there about Renate Scheer Kalkofen (1935-2013) who created this gorgeous "In Outer Space" print in 1966

making them to my eye just perfect

and the varied orientation of all of them on the page

There is a piece of the top layer of wood lost at the bottom left corner as pictured and a little paint loss at upper right

to be used as spreads for picnics

I purchased them from a seller who found them at an estate sale in Alabama but don't know who made them; they're carved of solid wood, thickly
