I'd guess it's ceramic or some hard composite covered in a thin layer of rubber--plenty heavy to make a useful paperweight

and think most likely the river pictured is the Hudson

It has a bit of a different quality on either side--one showing darker the other a little rustier red

and I love seeing their silhouettes up there

This really fun "bottoms up" shot glass was made by McKee in the early 1930s, apparently first introduced in speak easy's, and in addition to being great just as is, it also glows in black light! While some later reproductions of these were made, this is an original, distinguished by a patent mark and detailed face and hands of the nude draped over top (or bottom!) 3 3 8" t x 2 5 8" wide; 2 5 16" across at lip. Very good condition, no
