There is a small opening at the back of its tail

to be taken down and played with on a rainy day

Pennsylvania Schoolgirl Watercolor simple old watch holder Some fading to the inkOf all the things found in the last two weeks, this one feels to me the dearest at the moment. 19th century, likely done by a school girl, probably in Pennsylvania, watercolor on lined paper. A flower that also looks like a figure wearing a skirt, with ochre leaves looking both like pears and like boxing gloves, and a pointed end, roots, like a carrot, or a blade, or a ballerina on point. Looks a bit like an ice cream cone too. Layers of life and
