Senna meridionalis *Folding Leaves* Mesemb The are something of aSenna meridionalis A nice caudiciform legume species from Madagascar. The plant can become a small tree in the wild, but in cultivation can easily be kept as a small to medium caudiciform shrub. It also makes a great succulent bonsai. The leaves open during the day and close at night. Easy to grow. Likes water during the growing season as long as it is in well drained soil. Will grow year round if kept warm. May drop leaves in cool weather or drought.
