The cups measure 2 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" across at rim and 3 1/8 across at handle

Box is 12 7/8" x 9 3/4" x 1 1/2" and shows some wear

It was painted on silk, then very carefully wrapped around a piece of round board, pinned tight along the edges all the way around. It did have a ribbon with a little hanging loop attached to the top, but it immediately crumbled in my hands as soon as I touched it not too surprising as I'd think this is well over a hundred years old. I think of it kind of like a smiling moon, and might hang it high on the wall to watch over
