I have dreams of having a dog as big as I am

and the other drawers open and close with ease

I don't know a thing about the origins of this carved sculpture (which I don't think photos quite do justice)

and have not found another out there like it

I'd be inclined to hang them from a couple of nails on the wall near the desk or in the studio, to readily retrieve as needed and to inspire the rest of the time.
