This is the first one I've seen where the form inside the "cage" has a flattish bottom and a little carved handle on one side

This one--of which I have found no exact match

but the paint remains bright and all the better for some wear

Sweet Old Wooden Duck on Post with Extreme Alligator Paint artwood toy co and the only I've seenI assume this duck was just made to be decorative rather than as a decoy, since its just a domestic duck though I suppose it could have been used as a sign advertising ducklings or duck eggs? for sale! It definitely lived outdoors for a good number of years, with almost all of the white paint gone from one side, and this terrific alligator cracking to the paint on the "good" side. Still firmly attached to its metal post and perfectly ready to stick
