and on and around the bottom of the basket (as well as peeking through in a few spots through the woven sweetgrass) have been dyed red
Really a pretty amazing thing
with its diagonal beautifully echoed by the feathers of his hat and counterpointed by the opposite diagonal of his quiver
Hand-sewn, Tulip Shaped Wallpaper Sampler Book antique art school much of which I've gottenA curious thing, perhaps made for collecting autographs, or a a dance card for a very active dancer, or maybe just as a sculptura, crafty wallpaper sampler of sorts. Each leaf of the "tulip" is sewn of at least two layers of wallpaper, and can be flipped the opposite way like a fan to reveal the reverse side.
