and I think really a lovely thing to complement a group of wooden objects

with room left for adding to the set

is a perfect match for the fat nails and primitive construction of the stool

seems quite likely in a state of mourning

Box measures 11" x 8 1/4" x 1 3/8"

19th. C. Staffordshire Transferware Hare Plate lidded stoneware box and I think really aA rare c. 1830s 40s Staffordshire transferware Hare plate, because I love a bunny, and love the simple "hare" label describing this one. This was made as a child's plate and would be good now for teatime just the right size for a biscuit or two, then for holding one's teabag. Happy hoppy. 4 7 8" in diameter with a very fine hairline crack running up from the hare's back, minor.
