Deer Landscape Painting - "Late Summer" 18x24 Countryside Scenes It wasn't until we stumbled"Late Summer" I think what inspired me to paint this, aside from actually getting out and Gathering the reference, was the love I have for the countryside from where I grew up. Even though this scene takes place near my home in southwest Montana, in a sense, it brings me back East. The river bottoms in Montana are lush Wildlife corridors. With dense brush, large trees, and miles of rolling farmland, I'm often reminded of the land back home. Those cool
