Brandt's Dwarf asahi zuru maple Germaine’s Gyration is a laceBrandts Dwarf is one of the oldest Acer palmatum red dwarf maples derived from a witches broom of atropurpureum. The leaves emerge in the Spring bright purple red and then deepen to a blood red in the Summer. Later in the season the leaves fade to a rusty green color. At maturity Brandts dwarf will reach about 3 feet high and about the same in width. Brandts dwarf habit is a dense rounded shrub. The fall color is bright scarlet red. This is a hardy
