Hardy All Brass Perfect 4 1/4" Fly Reel - Late 1890s 6'9" For sale here is aFor sale here is a fine example of a mid to late 1890s Hardy All Brass Perfect. Strapped tension adjuster with turk's head locking nut; open ball race with bronze (brass?) balls it appears 2 balls are missing. Foot has been slightly trimmed at one end, presumably for ease of use. The reel is in good working order with no significant play; the cast foot is, unusually, intact. This is one of the 15 sizes listed in the 1895 catalogue, so only 14 more to
