Hardy Bamboo Rod Tube 3 Weight Truncated swiss ferrule with slantThis antique bamboo Hardy rod tube has a 1 5 8" O. D. The tube is varnished and has a leather bottom with small brass nails. "Hardy Brothers Ltd., Makers, Alnwick" is stamped on the culm in ink. Leather cap with decorative stitching ring and star stamped in middle. Unusual small leather stiched strap ring (latter made of metal), with the bottom 1 4 inch broken off (does not affect function). This one looks to be the earlier of the two we are selling.
