This definitely shows age and wear

and I would guess this dates to the late 40s or 50s

in the form of a minnow with some remnants of old paint

and just a marvelous object

Crisp and soft and bright, just like an apple, and I love how the artist so carefully positioned the apples such that all of the stems would point exactly the same way. Late 19th early 20th c. I believe, and in a terrific antique dark red painted frame. Framed, as found: 15 5 8"
