Quite fantastic

clearly it was painted by an artist who knew what they were doing

And I think it would make a pretty great pedestal for a few little things

as if the cloud centered itself on the house in order to provide a bit of shade

And in the case of this one, dated 1833, it was not until I got it home and started documenting its pages that I discovered the woven paper heart tucked inside a spread toward the back. Small joys are the best. And I love that the "Boston Lion Circus" clipping is specific to Boston,
