The rod weighs a hefty 9 ounces on my scale (the label sticker states it as 5 3 4 ounces). Very light use with a grip with almost no hand soiling. Unfortunately the nickel silver uplocking screwlock has some damage due to what appears to have been a set of pliers which has also created a little cosmetic damage to the walnut
