Beautiful Old Wood and Wire Rack, Presumed Extra Large Farmhouse Egg Carrier wooden dial with numbers all of which I thinkFound in Vermont the other day, this just struck me as a very beautiful thing, with a poetry to the way each arch of wire differs a bit in form from the next, together creating a delicate sort of field that feels like a 3 dimensional line drawing floating like a cloud above the wooden armature. I believe the original function was as a tray for holding and carrying eggs and a good lot of eggs it would have carried! All sorts of creative ways one might
