Cottage and Scissors, Sketchbook Drawing by Emma Ackerley, Sing Sing New York, 1870 hanging pine needle basket I've found a few otherPlenty of foxing and stains on this old sketchbook page of drawings done by one Emma Ackerley in 1870, but I love the drawings so much theres no way I could pass it by, and I find this combo of cottage with green tile roof and open scissors below strangely satisfying. Great details too, especially the shutters and curtains of the cottage, points on the picket fence, and tiny little pump out front. Signed not once but three times by our Emma, dated
