Tonko - The Silk Road Condition:Very fine, unfolded and unused with light wear poster for AgnThis original print from the Saul Bass Archive was designed by Saul for the lavish 1988 historical drama, a Chinese Japanese co production. Saul & Elaine Bass were commissioned to do the title sequence for the film, which was a huge success in Japan. However, the film was not released in the United States of America until 1992 where it was retitled 'The Silk Road'. An alternate style of this poster is available from the Saul Bass Archive here.
