Extremely Intricate Old Folded Paper Cross sailor doorstop the glaze appears to haveI've had a couple of small antique woven paper crosses, but I've never had, nor seen, such an intricate and also three dimensional one as this a very Froebel esque combination of paper weaving and paper folding, composed of very thinly cut strips of good weight paper colored on one side. Really quite amazing, and seems to me it may indeed be the work of a very dexterous, patient, high achieving kindergarten teacher, late 19th very early 20th century,
