At first I took this small vase with its terrific patterning as an Art Deco piece

made for the tourist trade and I don't think very old

I've seen a lot of old Mexican ex-voto retablo paintings on tin

fairly close to the surface

Carved Wolf on the Prowl cube puzzle and it takes zero flowerThis carved wolf looks like quite a stalker, and also a bit cartoon y, making me think a bit of Little Red Riding Hood, or a pen of vulnerable sheep. I like the rustic ness of the carving, and especially the very long snout, and also the carving's thinness not much more than a silhouette treading stealthily along his base! 6 1 4" l x 2 7 8 " t x 7 8" thick and in very good vintage condition, definitely with some age. It appears to be signed in pencil
