It’s a mid to late season grower for me so I pop her in a nursery pot with potting soil a month prior my frost date to get more of these unique and versatile blooms even sooner

I love love love this dahlia and working this texture into arrangements

I’ve also found her petal structure to be more consistent than Cafe Au Lait which can throw out some wacky curly petals and blown out centers

but appreciates being fed as the temps rise to keep up her strong production
