Large 19th Century Carved Oak and Brass Dinner Gong The Library The original two castors remainAn extremely attractive 19th century carved oak and brass dinner gong of large proportions. The piece boasts fine barley twist arms with ornately carved oak to the top and bottom of the frame, all above carved oak scroll feet. The brass gong itself is thick and extremely heavy, sitting upon later hooks within the frame. There is a small hole to the underside of the gong (please see photographs) but it still has a lovely deep and resonating ring when
