There is a little bristle loss on one side (horsehair I believe) but the rest of the bristles are tightly held and tapered to give it a beautiful shape

One of the trays is 3 1/8" tall

And I think this girl in blue

no stains at all that I can see

and perhaps Hovsepian held on to it precisely because that student went on to great art world fame
