Silver Mounted Crocodile Leather Wallet by Asprey & Co Ltd, London, 1935. 19th Century within which stands a birdA very attractive silver mounted crocodile leather wallet by Asprey & Co Ltd, London. Silver hallmarks to each corner date the piece to 1935. There is a gold metal raised motif to the front of the wallet depicting a Merman with a cane and top hat, reading 'DE VITA VIS'; the latin translation of which is 'About Life Force'. The wallet remains in an entirely original condition. There is some wear to the leather at the top and bottom edge of the fold but
