I'd guess these date to the 1940s or so but have not found any others like them

This one is especially playful with one tiger leaning on the back of the other and a little bird perched on each of their heads

there is some wear to the finish on the reverse side in a few spots

I can't read more than a few words of German

I just love the graphics on the vintage watercolor boxes

This one, with what looks to me a pirate of sorts at right, I might guess takes inspiration from one of the two Barbary Wars, fought with Tripoli
