and the two-piece houses are firm joined

and it also has me thinking about retablos with very similar compositions and feelings

as does END carved into one side

Antique Photograph of Jockey (?) with Great Face and Shadow peasant dolls a hole for a thimbleI assume based on his outfit and especially those striped sleeves this fellow is a horse jockey, and perhaps it is the wall of an old stables he is posed against, cigarette in one hand, hat in the other, and casting a great shadow. I really love his face, and his hair, and his pose, and can imagine he was quite a character. 4 5 8" x 2 3 4". A small crease fold mark at upper left corner; overall good condition.
