is a well known Canadian tier and there are a variety of patterns here including spey and strip wing flies

Hardy Perfect 3 3/8" 1912 fly reel - red agate 7 Weight Unmolested reel footFor sale here is a Hardy Perfect with a highly coveted 1912 check and un blemished red agate line guide. 3 3 8" diameter. The smooth brass reel foot measures 2 3 8" and may have been shortened shaped, but if so, was done very uniformly. Ivory handle spins freely but does rotate with a little friction. Strap over tensioner works perfectly. All parts of the reel are stamped "5". Good overall condition mechanically with some slight play in the spool
