The lamp consists of a solid wooden base and a cylindrical shade held together by a turning joint. The lamp shade is 350 degrees rotatable using the small integrated handle. Small holes on the top of the lamp allow you to see if it is on at a glance, and act as an air vent to keep the light source at a safe operating temperature.
