Hardy Sovereign 8/9 Fly Reel 8'9" This is the big brother

This is the big brother of a 7'4" #9 rod I made for myself two years ago and on which I landed a whopper salmon this spring on the Gaspe (pictured above)

some of the wraps are showing a bit of blush

and wraps brown with yellow edges

The butt section is 3'3" in length and the two tip sections are 5'1" in length

Hardy Sovereign 8/9 Fly Reel 8'9" This is the big brotherFor sale here is a Hardy Sovereign 8 9 fly reel. 3 1 2" diameter. 1" wide spool. Unused condition. Slight tarnish on the brass reel foot, but not from fishing. Right or left hand retrieve, currently set up for left. The handle on this reel (like the Abel walnut handles) is an upgrade from the typical handles and was made by Bill Archuleta. Comes with Hardy case and instruction sheet.
