This is one of those scarce and special early sets where there solid "red" side is much more of an orange, and the very best orange at that, and the solid "blue" side is near black. The wood framed box here appears to have been custom made for them long ago, with a thick paperboard bottom that is very sturdy and well attached by fat nails coming up from the
