GH Halstead Bamboo Fly Rod 8' 2/2 #5/6 4-piece Lovely delicate feel to thisA rare George Halstead bamboo fly rod, 8', 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #5 or #6 line. Strong DF action. Light use judging by the guidewear and general straightness but I would rate the condition as fair due to some chips and adhesion patches on the varnish. This rod would be an excellent candidate for a sanding and dip over. The story goes that Halstead had a lot of customers who fished the big Delaware and needed a rod to toss lots of line. Tom
