but there is some dryness and light cracking to the woods in places

Sculptural Large Brown Pottery Pitcher with Long Neck watercolor on paper So perfectI am pretty compelled by this large and heavy studio pottery vessel, which I'd call a pitcher, though certainly an unusual one. I find its form, unfolding across 360 degrees, super evocative, reminding me at once of a horse (and the sculptures of Marino Marini, especially) and a gasoline can! Salt fired I believe (which yielded a few shiny areas), it seems to nod to old salt glazed jugs, and also calls sewer tile sculpture to mind. I think it could
