For display purposes there's an extra large marble for the center hole
The one with the smaller bowl shows a little roughness around the edges of the bowl and some scratching to its interior
I like the delicacy of the tiny stitches on this one
I know from the seller that this old whimsy came from an amazing estate on Madeline Island in Lake Superior that had been built by two Norwegian brothers in 1905 and was filled to the brim with a lifetime collection of antiques
Wonderful Old Primitive Barn Hook (or Horse Sculpture) antique lidded crock This is one of aCertainly made as a barn hook, and a wonderfully primitive one at that, but my love for this is for the fact that the sculptural wood hook looks just like a horses head, and equally so from both sides, so I'd treat it as a sculpture and display it head up. Really quite a beautiful, old thing, which could certainly also be mounted on the wall as a satisfyingly large and sculptural hook should one desire. 8" tall; 8" x 7 1 6" across at base mount. Very
