These are a bit rarer from what I can tell

The bristles are full and tightly bound

which is made of waxed cotton fabric I believe

but it looks like the nails were removed at some point at the strips were glued (though there is no glue showing

with just a bit of wear to the sharp edges of the ball in cage at end

I think it is a pretty old one, and shows an old layer of brown paint stain with some remnants of silver on top as well, adding just a little sparkle:) The balls roll around freely in their cages and it is in overall good structural shape, showing a few small nicks here and
