It measures 6 1/2" in diameter by 3/8" deep and comes in what may be the original box

The blocks are large and chunky and perfect for young hands to stack and build with and throw around--though I might be tempted to keep them for myself

There is one small clean tear along the lower left edge

which I would guess may be the initials of its maker

There is loss to one edge of the glass but it doesn't show from the front

It is in such pristine condition it looks as if it might have been done yesterday, but the absence of the J and U, the fraktur style lettering of the first half (through to the M, then changing style with the N) and the round hand of the second half all seem right to
