The lid fits snugly and there are no major dents at all

a hunter I'd think-- though he also looks a bit like a soldier--appears poised to walk right up and off the cliff

I think it is really great looking

From the fish shaped weathervane on the barn to the shutter hanging open to the bucket on the fence to the pair of horseshoes at lower right next to the artist's initials, it really feels rather like one of those puzzle drawings where you are supposed to locate all sorts hidden images!
